Lil E Cafe

This project involved the delivery of a refreshed and welcoming café space for Lil E Cafe, a not-for-profit organization that provides employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, located at 2 St. Clair Avenue West in Toronto.

Arguson partnered with AP+D to deliver pre-construction, budgeting and value engineering, construction management, and design-build services for the project. The scope included selective demolition, new drywall partitions, ceilings, mechanical and electrical systems, interior finishes and graphics, custom millwork, and accessibility upgrades throughout the space.

As Lil E Cafe continues to grow, it was important to preserve the individuality of the Toronto location while maintaining a strong and recognizable brand presence. The project balanced clean, dynamic design with thoughtful functionality to support inclusivity and create a welcoming environment for both employees and customers.

The result is a vibrant, community-focused space that supports the café’s mission while enhancing the overall customer experience.
