Stephen Avenue Place Redevelopment

This project involved the full redevelopment and repositioning of the Stephen Avenue Place podium, spanning an entire city block in downtown Calgary. The scope focused on modernizing the building while enhancing its functionality, public presence, and appeal for future tenants.

Arguson delivered pre-construction, budgeting, design-build, and construction management services for a comprehensive exterior and interior upgrade. The redevelopment included a new curtain wall and building envelope, updated canopies and cladding, and the integration of public art elements. Major mechanical and electrical systems were replaced throughout the building, including new equipment, ductwork distribution, and lighting.

Interior work included the reconfiguration of the atrium space, removal and replacement of escalators, installation of a new elevator and shaft, and the refurbishment of existing elevators. New public corridors, washrooms, and lobbies were created, along with upgraded common areas featuring tenant amenities such as lounges, a games room, and a fitness space. White box preparations and landlord base building work were completed to support future tenant leasing.
