Parking Structure Upgrade
This project focused on creating a new underground pedestrian connection between multiple existing buildings within an active downtown parking garage.
The scope included selective demolition, structural modifications, installation of new steel supports, HVAC rerouting, and the creation of a new opening through existing building elements to establish a seamless connection between properties. Careful coordination was required throughout construction to maintain ongoing garage operations while safely executing complex structural and mechanical work.
Working within an existing environment presented unique challenges that demanded detailed planning, close collaboration, and precise execution. The completed connection improves accessibility, circulation, and the overall user experience while integrating seamlessly with the surrounding infrastructure.
